Brights are a flat brush with shorter bristles. They are typically used for short controlled strokes.
They are very good to use to dust colors onto gumpaste or fondant.
The white bristles allow for the brush to be used with the same color over again as it will not lose the color. Unless a brush was used with someting other than dry dusting, it does not need to be cleaned each time it is used if the same color is used with that brush.
